Connect the new MS430502M chassis to the last one installed using an Ethernet

cable (straight or crossover)

It is necessary to enable the second or slave Ethernet port on the last

MS430502M chassis in order to allow communication with the next MS430502M

chassis.

• Enable Ethernet port

• Set to “off” the object: mgnt2CtrlEthPort2Disable

• Configuration

Using the procedure outlined in the MS430502M chassis User manuals: set the IP

address of the new MS430502M chassis and Manager.

End procedure

Using the Data Communication Channel

In order to manage a distant MS430502M chassis, it is possible to use the Data

Communication Channel interface. This is a 10Mb/s interface available on almost all

MICROSENS MS series modules.
